Brant Fraser is a highly regarded Production Designer, from New Zealand. he has worked internationally on features, television series and high-end commercials
He has Designed four features, including the critically acclaimed ‘Fantail’, he was nominated for Best Production Design at the 2014 NZ Film and TV Awards for the low budget Feature ‘The Last Saint’. He worked with visionary Indian Director Pan Nalin on the 2017 feature, ‘Beyond the Known World’.
In 2018 he designed ‘The Breaker Upperers’ produced by Piki Films which premiered at SXSW and was chosen to open the Sydney International Film Festival.
Brant also designed three television series, including the second series of hit Australian show ‘Wanted’, produced by Matchbox Pictures and starring Rebecca Gibney.
Over the past 15 years he has built up an impressive commercials reel, working with some of the leading directors and production co’s. in New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
This has seen him working throughout the region and internationally.
In 2020 he took an extended break from the film industry, to spend time with his young family and pursue other business ventures. This has seen him travelling extensively and residing in Sri lanka, Mexico, and Bali. He has recently returned to New Zealand, where he is now based.
He is excited to return to the industry in 2024 and looking forward to this next chapter of his film career.
